At the Meaningful Growth Foundation, every story is personal, and every mission is deeply rooted in the experiences that shape us. For Rich Glicini, Head of Finance and a valued member of the Board of Directors, the passion behind MGF is more than just a commitment—it’s a lifelong calling.
Born and raised in Washington Township, NJ, Rich grew up as the youngest of three children in the Glicini family. His life took a profound turn at just 10 years old, when he lost his father to stomach cancer. That heartbreaking loss became the spark that fuels his dedication to MGF’s mission today—ensuring that families facing similar battles receive the resources, support, and hope they need.
Rich pursued his education with the same drive that defines his career and service, earning a BA from NC State in Raleigh, NC, and an MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Stevens Institute in Hoboken, NJ. His early professional years were spent as a Compensation and HR Consultant, but it was in the world of education where he left his greatest mark, spending the majority of his career as Chief HR Officer at Pearson Education and working with several nonprofit organizations.
Now, in an inspiring full-circle moment, Rich has relocated to Vero Beach, FL, to work alongside his son, Mark Glicini, serving as COO of MGPP while continuing to provide HR consulting services to a diverse range of clients. His leadership and financial stewardship at MGF ensure that the foundation can grow its impact and expand its reach to those in need.
Beyond his professional and philanthropic commitments, Rich finds balance in life’s simple joys. When not in husband, father, or grandfather mode, you can find him on the golf course, tackling a Sudoku puzzle, or taking long walks with his golden retriever, Harley.
His journey—from a young boy who lost his father too soon, to a pillar of strength, leadership, and compassion—is a testament to the very essence of Meaningful Growth. We are beyond grateful to have him guiding our mission forward.
